Raising a Special Needs Child
Navigating complex emotional, medical, and developmental hurdles is exhausting work. I know the appointments, the questions with no easy answers, and the quiet weight parents carry.
A compassionate life and health coach helping parents of special needs children and individuals work through everyday battles with clarity, resilience, and grace.

Life happens to all of us. We can work our way through it, together.
Sarah Hart, Founder
About Sarah Hart
My name is Sarah. I am a mother, a grandmother, and the founder of Hart Life Coaching. My son lives with several mental disabilities, and today he is a thriving adult and a father in his own right. Getting here was not easy. We faced each season the best way we knew how, one honest step at a time.
Family is my passion and my inspiration. The years spent advocating, listening, learning, and simply showing up shaped the coach I am today. I built this practice to hold that same steady space for others.
Whether you are a parent of a special needs child or someone facing an everyday battle, you deserve a place where you feel heard, not fixed. That is what I offer here.
Lived Experience
My coaching is not built from a textbook. It is built from years of real seasons, real setbacks, and the small daily choices that carried me forward.
Navigating complex emotional, medical, and developmental hurdles is exhausting work. I know the appointments, the questions with no easy answers, and the quiet weight parents carry.
I have faced divorce, bankruptcy, and the very real strain of everyday financial and emotional stress. None of it was quick to solve, and none of it defined me.
Resilience is not a personality trait. It is built slowly, in real moments. Life happens, and we can work our way through it, one honest conversation at a time.

Intentional FAQ
Everything about how coaching works, what to expect, and how we can start together at a pace that feels right.
Send Sarah a note. A real human will read it and reply, usually within a day.
Therapy is clinical care provided by a licensed professional and often focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. Coaching is forward-focused. We work on your present goals, next steps, and building real habits. I am not a therapist and I do not diagnose or prescribe.
Sessions are 1:1 and held virtually by video call or by phone, whichever feels safer and easier for you. We agree on a cadence that fits your life, whether that is weekly, every other week, or as needed.
No. Special needs parenting is my heart and my deepest lived experience, but I coach anyone navigating a difficult season, a life transition, or the everyday battles we all face.
A real conversation. We talk about what brought you here, what feels heavy, and what a small next step could look like. No script, no pressure.
Both. Some people want ongoing support, others want a single strategy session to think something through. We will find what fits.
